Sofitel's first "Legend" hotel is making its debut in Hanoi, Vietnam with the re-opening of the Metropole.
Originally opened in 1901, the "grand dame" of Vietnam's hotels became the first in the Sofitel portfolio to acquire the distinction after undergoing renovations to its 364 rooms.
Also, the Metropole wing now features suites named after Charlie Chaplin, Somerset Maugham and Graham Greene, each of whom stayed at the Metropole.
The hotel's restaurants include Spices Garden, Le Beaulieu, and Angelina.
